Words from the wise…….your recent predecessors in PPLS…………..

18th Feb, 5-7.30pm – a date for your diary – get along to the PPLS annual alumni event  in LT S21 and concourse, and listen to Words from the Wise. Only a year or two ago these alumni were in your shoes (not literally of course!) and wondering about their next moves after university.

Now they are back to share their experiences and offer you their advice and words of wisdom. Covering diverse areas from policy officer to renewables project assistant via Gaelic language service provider and freelance television researcher – and many more – find out not just about the work they do, but how they got there, and how they utilised their degree – subject matter or skills – or both!

Be inspired by their experience – you may not want their exact jobs, but you’ll gain insight into just how you can use your degree in so many ways, and how to gain experience.

And 2 big added bonuses – you can chat to them one-to-one over drinks and refreshments, and  they’ve all written case studies of their experience too  – download the Case study booklet– or collect a copy at the event – we’ll look forward to seeing you there.
