If you’re quick, you can find out more directly from the British Council and recent recruits at the British Council event in Teviot tonight at 6-8pm (no need to book, just turn up)! Get your weekend off to a flying start with ideas for internships, your vacations and future direction (plus free food to start your night out) – and then continue on to your Friday night festivities – what’s not to like?!

Read the advert from British Council for this event below:

‘The British Council has opportunities for you to study abroad, work or volunteer overseas or to develop and fund creative projects abroad. Come along to The Study at Teviot at 6-8pm on Friday 21st of November to find out more about what the British Council offers as part of its ‘Study, Work, Create’ programme. We’ll be providing free food, pub quizzes, presentations by the British Council and by students who have spent time abroad, along with an opportunity for networking with drinks afterwards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about what opportunities are available to you to travel, the application process and potential funding opportunities.

If you’d like to find out more ahead of the event then check out the British Council’s website. The event will focus on the Generation UK programme, opportunities in China & India, and a Thai Teaching Assistant position whilst also allowing you to ask any questions about the British Council in general or other programmes.’

If you’ve missed the event itself, check out the British Council website to find out more, and use the ‘Guide to Occupations’ section of the Careers Service website to explore occupations in detail.
