Around 25% of PPLS undergraduates go on to further study of some sort after graduation – coudl be vocational – teaching, library and information management, translation, or academic, a Masters (sometime straight to PhD even) related your undergraduate degree disciple.
Most of you will be familiar with UCAS as the place to go to apply for undergraduate courses (and more recently Postgrad teaching training via UCAS Teacher Training). Well, now they’ve extended their reach into Masters and PhDs.
According to UCAS,
‘Students thinking about postgraduate study can now compare and shortlist over 21,000 courses at more than 430 unis and colleges, with the new, national postgraduate search tool. Students will have access to high quality information and advice, as well as a more intuitive and comprehensive search, with the ability to sign in to save searches and bookmark courses. With a wide variety of postgraduate study options on offer, there is the flexibility to find the right course and way of studying for everyone.’
